Province’s golfers meet at South Kyme

The autumn meeting of the Lincolnshire Freemasons Golfing Association took place at South Kyme Golf Club thanks to this year’s Club captain Ray Duncan.

Thirteen masons and one guest took part. Winners were as follows:

  • Robert Humphries Cup for the Best Medal Score from either division: John Day
  • PGM’S Cup for the best medal score in the other division: Steve Spavin
  • Frank Money Trophy best stableford score in either division: Eric King
  • Wratten Cup best over 60’s stableford score: Ray Duncan
  • The Gerald Hat Rick Cup best over 65’s stableford score: John Lambert

APGM Peter Brooks presented the trophy. Peter thanked the club on behalf of the Association for a splendid day and all who took part especially his playing partners for the laughs along the way. He also thanked Mick Wright for the work in putting the day together as well as all his work through the year on behalf of the Association, and said that it was up to those present to invite a friend to the next day out to boost the attendance.
